Laura Halucha is a Registered Nurse and Co-owner of Skin Logic Ottawa with 16 years of nursing experience. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Ottawa and is certified in medical aesthetics through THMA Consulting. Laura is internationally trained in aesthetic medicine across the United States, Europe, and South Korea.
Her clinical background includes years of experience in critical care settings at CHEO, community infusion nursing for immunocompromised patients.. In addition to her clinical practice, Laura is a clinical trainer and educator in the field of aesthetic medicine, supporting the development of safe, ethical, and results-driven practice.
Laura’s approach is education-first and patient-centred. She is known for her approachable style, conservative treatment planning, and focus on long-term skin and wellness outcomes.

Amanda Bastedo is the Medical Director and Co-owner of Skin Logic Ottawa and a highly experienced Nurse Practitioner with over 17 years in healthcare. She is internationally trained in advanced injection techniques, including dermal fillers and biostimulators.
In addition to her clinical practice, Amanda is a clinical trainer and keynote speaker in the field of aesthetic medicine, sharing her knowledge and expertise with medical professionals worldwide. She is recognized for her leadership in safe, evidence-based aesthetic practice and her ability to translate complex clinical concepts into practical, ethical application.
As Medical Director, Amanda oversees all medical protocols at Skin Logic Ottawa, ensuring the highest standards of safety, precision, and natural-looking results. Her philosophy centres on conservative treatment planning, facial balance, and long-term skin health — never trends or overcorrection.
Aesthetic Nurse Injector
Alex Boileau is a Registered Practical Nurse and Aesthetic Nurse Injector at Skin Logic Ottawa. She completed her RPN program at St. Lawrence College and is currently completing her Bachelor of Science in Nursing through Athabasca University. Alex also works full-time at The Ottawa Hospital (General Campus).
She completed her aesthetic training through THMA Consulting and is committed to ongoing education, ethical practice, and individualized treatment planning. Alex focuses on subtle, natural enhancements that support each client’s unique features and goals.

Marina’s passion for aesthetic treatments began long before non-surgical options became popular.
In 2012, her fascination with the blend of beauty and science drew her to medical aesthetics, where she fell in love with its transformative possibilities.
A decade later, she pursued becoming a nurse injector, driven by her belief that looking good enhances feeling good. Marina takes pride in helping others feel confident in their own skin.
